Yeah for sure! They would ask you about how familiar you are with the products or brands, if you are more interested in skincare, color, ops (stock), or cash. They need to know your weaknesses and strengths, your working background, your schedule, and why you’d want to work at sephora.
My position varies a lot. I started as a Skincare consultant when I was first hired. Then once I’ve been trained on cash I was able to do that. Then they send me to Hamilton to be trained on makeup for about 4 nights where they put you into a hotel with other people hired and train you on the brands, and then obviously you get free shit to use on yourself. All expenses paid by sephora.
I’d recommend that when you want to get an interview or get hired that you have to talk to a manager, or in sephora lingo “the lead”, and ask for an application form. Fill it and staple your resume with it and hand it in. When you go in to get the application form that you dress professionally, full faced of makeup, and that you are by yourself and not with friends.
I was hired on luck. What happened was when I worked at Journeys the shoe store during my break I went to Sephora to buy my cleanser and by chance an employee (manager to be) saw me and offered me an interview with the store manager. I got an interview and out of the other people that got interviewed I was picked to get a 2nd interview, just like a call-back, and in the end I was hired with 2 other girls.

feeling that you finally met someone who’s actually pretty decent. conversation goes on for a couple of minutes to hours. then i realize im being catfished. can’t believe people as fucked up, as the one i was talking to a few minutes ago, would go out of their way to do something as sick as this. i guess you can call me a victim from being catfished. and i can tell you it isn’t a good feeling at all. to whoever you are, good job you made me feel like shit in the end *clap*clap*clap* hope you feel accomplished and happy with your life.
